| A mid-engine, two-seat roadster from Porsche, the Carrera GT first debuted in concept form at the Louvre museum during the 2000 Paris Motor Show. This supercar features many cutting-edge technologies including magnesium wheels and sport seats, and Porsche claims performance of zero to 60 mph in less than 4 seconds and zero to 100 mph in less than 7 seconds. The Carrera GT supercar was a new addition to the Porsche lineup for 2004 and continues unchanged for 2005. The mid-engine two-seat roadster features a 605-horsepower 5.7-liter V10 engine, the first ceramic composite clutch used in a production car, and Porsche claims a top track speed of 205 mph. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
